Choosing colors with a practical constraint

I need to record a short training course for work. A teal background has already been chosen for every recording. I can choose my clothes, but replacing the background is outside my part of the project. I own a cream shirt, a navy shirt, and a muted red one. I would like to compare those before buying anything. The room, microphone position, and lighting will stay the same throughout the course. I can make these comparison clips before the scheduled recording day, so there is time to adjust my choice without delaying anyone. I found a personal color analysis page while looking for language to describe the differences. The camera and the background seem to introduce another set of considerations. Would you compare short clips with identical camera settings first? I could ask a colleague to assess separation from the backdrop. Which observations about my face should remain separate from background contrast?
